Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch. 2008-08-18 08:14:53 It’s always interesting to me, the idea that surfers of adult sites seem to have - that this entire industry that produces all the pornography that they’re enjoying either doesn’t make any money, or SHOULDN’T make any money. I can understand the first perspective, sort of, because we all have a tendency to limit our worldviews and perceptions to what we personally take part in, so if you only get your porn off the tube sites and /rs/ or something, you might assume that’s how everyone does it. The second opinion is what I am more confused by: there are a lot of people involved in bringing you the photos & videos you jerk off to. Obviously, the pornstars, the directors, the people who recruit the ‘actors’, site designers, video editors, etc etc etc… believe it or not, this industry is a real job for a lot of people. Why is there this idea out there that they shouldn’t make money simply because it’s porn?

Especially when you compare it to last season’s crop of megatalent (Rami, Jillian, Sweet P, Chris, Christian, and so on…). Maybe the rumors that Bravo is intentionally fucking this season up as revenge for the show’s impending move to Lifetime are true, after all. Because really, there’s a whopping five worthy competitors on this season (Korto, Terri, Kenley, Kelli, and Jerell, to be exact), the rest are just either completely worthless (Suede, Daniel, Blayne, Jennifer, Stella) or, in the infamous words of Simon Doonan, “dull slash very dull” (Joe, Wesley, Emily, Jerry, Keith, Leanne).

America’s Next Top Model is pure television crack. We’re on our whopping ELEVENTH cycle, and even for all the show’s flaws, I can’t stop watching. Whitney may have been crowned ANTM only a few months ago, but it seems that it’s already time for her to step back & make room for the newest crop of bitches struggling to dethrone her. A Sixties/Summer Of Love-themed “teaser” ad was published in this months Vogue, and The CW has released their usual bare-bones promo photos & mini-bios of the new season’s fourteen contestants. Because half the fun of watching ANTM is undoubtedly in the viewership’s picking apart of the contenstants, here’s my take on the fresh meat.

ANTM Cycle 11 Girls Revealed, Finally.
Well, that’s done. 2008-07-28 09:23:12 It took me like a month and a half, but I finally finished both parts of Persona 3: FES - the main story ended up clocking in at just under 100 hours of gameplay, and The Answer/Episode Aegis - the part that I just finished - ended at 30 hours. Now I understand why this game got nominated for some “most bang for your buck” award, considering it retails for $30 brand new. I think it also won “best RPG of the year” from a few magazines or something, too, but I may be hallucinating that.
Anyhow, point being, I’m finally done. So yeah, on the off chance that anyone cares to see some of what’s ate up a huge chunk of my life these past two months (and gave me something to do while my sites were being moved), here you go:

I couldn’t think of a title for this. 2008-07-27 04:38:04 On a more personal level, I know that I’ve mentioned a few times in this blog that I have been having increasing problems with my memory and ability to focus long enough to do, well, anything - even fall asleep, if that makes sense. I was put on Adderall a little over a year ago, and when I take it, it helps tremendously: it’s akin to that fuzzy, out-of-range channel at the top of the dial suddenly becoming clear and coherent.
Unfortunately, I have two reservations about my Adderall prescription, both of which I have mentioned before: the fact that I hate the idea of being reliant on amphetamines to be able to think properly, and the fact that it costs upwards of $100 per month to fill my prescription - even when getting generics. This train of thought led me to getting a sort of “trial” prescription for Wellbutrin, which supposedly can help with Adult ADD.

I finally found a new webhost & got everything switched over, since I couldn’t deal with the random outages that Webair kept giving me - it was seriously up to 3-4x each week that I’d notice my sites were just not loading (it was actually getting so bad that my surfers were emailing me about the constant downtime). It was really affecting my traffic - and thusly, my sales. So I’m now with Naked Hosting; the hosting costs more per month, but hopefully it’ll make up for it by… well, you know, WORKING! Reliability and peace of mind is worth an extra $79/month to me.

I remember taking those Meyers-Briggs/Jung personality tests constantly in high school (it seemed like every time you had a Health or Psychology class, you had to take it) and I always consistently scored as an ENFP (Extroverted Intuitive Feeling Perceiving) - even as recently as a few years after high school, I remember taking one of these tests online and getting the same score.
It seems that I’ve changed. I took it once again, and I’m almost completely the opposite now - INTJ (though my Introvert score is very close to the middle - as I’ve always been right in the middle of those two, I just used to score more on the Extrovert side). So much drama in the, um, cable company? 2008-06-18 03:46:54 As a few of you know already, I spent the past week or so moving… no, not to South Korea (at least not yet), just across town to a nicer apartment complex. Getting the internet hooked up over here has been some DRAMA… first of all, Time Warner couldn’t even send a guy out here until we had been here for an entire week, and then the girl that they sent turned out to be… well, possibly retarded, I’m not quite sure what her deal was. She basically told us that someone had spliced into our cable and fucked us over to the point that we would have to use dial-up in order have ANY internet access at all. So she hooked that up for us, and then told us it’d be two to three WEEKS before a contractor could come out and fix the cable for us. Um, ew. I said yes, but then we called the company and told them that if they really put us out of internet for an entire MONTH, we’d have no choice but to switch services as my job requires internet access. Dale’s departure + scary electric = NO BOOTY CALLS? 2008-05-30 21:28:20 So in some rather sudden & unfortunate news, it turns out that we will NOT be renewing our lease at the current apartment (our lease is about to end, like, a week from now). Why? Because a few days ago, I woke up and went downstairs and smelled this strange, plastic-y/burning odor. After some searching, we found the source - one of the electrical outlets was having some kind of crazy fuckup and the socket had MELTED. So yeah, that’s extremely worrisome and so we have to get out of here ASAP so we don’t die in an electrical fire. Obviously we’ve stopped using that outlet (well, duh) but it’s still pretty scary. So I’ve been spending the past few days looking at apartments all over the city. It went decently for me - pretty much as expected, honestly. No page rank change for this website (still 0), which is to be expected with how much I discuss things like PPP and other things that Google dislikes, so I’m not exactly disappointed or surprised.
Most websites remained the same: Gamer Hero (3), Posh Freebies, liquidLOVEonline (2), Consumer Sex Reports (1), Super Hero Fetish (2), Kung Pao Cuties (3), Kitten Kills You (2), Lux Alterna (2), and Rate A Cam Girl (2).
A few went up - mostly new websites that were previously unranked: Cherry Delish (0 to 2), Craving Curves (0 to 2), Celebrity Sex Comics (0 to 2), Gamer Fetish (0 to 2), Pink Glam Girls (0 to 1), Domino Doggie (0 to 1 - I’m pretty amused by this, considering this has a whopping two posts), and Hustle Honeys (0 to 1).

The Holder Of The Creepypasta 2008-04-06 22:23:17 Ugh, once again it’s been proven that my immune system is COMPLETELY TERRIBLE. I don’t even know how I got sick this past week, but I’ve been all shaky and feverish for the past few days. Trying to get anything done was really frusterating, because my depth perception & general coordination was all funky, so typing anything was taking forever. I kept going all dyslexic and gibberish on AIM.
In other news, I FINALLY got to see the Kim Kardashian sex tape. I’d been wanting to see it for ages, but couldn’t find anything more than random 5-minute clips floating around. So the completely awesome Steve decided to rock my world and buy me a password to the official Vivid website. I’ve been watching it in chunks, since it’s not 100% porno and pretty long… if you dig Keeping Up With The Kardashians at all, it’s worth a viewing.
