It's a Gay Old Day! 2008-07-16 17:31:00 Well not for me. I have the next two days off & will be stuck at home, going crazy! One thing you don't do to Shaney - Keep him home! The boredom that follows will be just enough to send me off the rails.It is the middle of winter, too cold to hit the beach. Plus the cost of fuel.Payday is next week, too poor to hit the shops, by gas, go for lunch. Drunken neighbours, who booze up in the back yard, starting at 9am, add to that a crumbling fence, too close for my liking to be out in the garden. DVD's I have watched a zillion times over - already too much!My scrapping craft work, would be fine if we had ink in the printer and I had the $$$ to go out and get all the supplies along with the ink cartridges.I wish I was working today!

My 6th Gay Birthday 2008-07-12 17:02:00 Sounds strange huh! But it is true. Take into account my first 30 years was spent in a confused 'who am I' state of mind. I just wish I had of stayed in bed and missed the entire day - to be honest!I woke up with a headache, after having some bizarre dream someone was trying to kill my Brother. I spent most of my night trying to track him down to warn him, only when I finally reached him the killer was just footsteps behind us. Then there is this.........My poor little sweetheart puddy tat has cut her mouth some how and I spent most of last night mopping up the blood she had spat or dripped all over the house. Add to that I am still fighting to get rid of the flea allergy she got from those rogue, feral strays that took refuge here sometime ago. Sheekah is hypersensitive to flea saliva and is affected more severely by flea bites than cats who are not. The treatments are expensive and being out of work for all those months and now not getting a great deal of work has not helped finan
Dear Gay Diary 2008-07-10 21:41:00 I have a bad tooth infection - AGAIN. I always knew my teeth would give me grief. Just not to this extent. I was warned by the dentist (at a tender age) of these problems. I had to have 5 teeth extracted when I first got my adult choppers as there would not be enough room in my gob to house them all. Apparently I have a small mouth, now some would disagree with that very statement and call me a 'big mouth'. Ba Ha Ha Ha! What has happened over the years is that my teeth (having very little room) have been pushing against one another with such force that they crack and break away (mostly the back teeth) I have spent much $$ trying to keep them intact. But now I am just OVER IT!I got cancelled again for work today, very quiet during the school vacations, it seems all the surgeons take their rich brats on holidays. So I did what any abnormal person does with an extra day off. I went and got drunk! But with good intention, it numbed the pain of my tooth. Well it certainly helped me forget
A Gay Celebration 2008-07-08 15:54:00 Gearing up to celebrate the end of my 35th year on this good earth. Sunday will see me inch that little bit closer to 40! How 'very' dare I even mention that number! It will also mark the 15th year my sister (twin) & I have not celebrated 'together'. Yet again she has made her own plans and not given thought to us having a double whammo! I am kind of a little bummed about it, but I guess as adults we tend to grow our own circle of friends & our own families.I have mentioned to her that I would like to celebrate our 4oth together. It happens to fall on Friday 13th in 2012. Yes I have had to book her that far in advance. But I am thinking a 'Themed Party' is in order. I mean how many people get to turn 40 on Black Friday! *winks*I had to get up at 4:30am this morning and drop Nate off to work. I don't start until 9:30am. Gay Relationship Winner 2008-07-04 17:32:00 I have kept fairly quiet about my relationship lately, with valid reason. It has not been going so well. There have been times where I have wanted to run and not look back. Times where I thought about how little time I had as a single gay man. I would think about my past, I would let it get to me. I concluded that it is just not easy being me, yet I have been selfish. Little did I think to stop and wonder how Nate felt. How is he coping with my cold shoulder? Can he see the light in my heart dimming ever so slowly. Could I be wrong. I do let too much get to me. Often I ask why should anyone have to live to see such times. How is it possible that the love between two people can just fade away. Why did this happen to me, what went wrong.The answer was right in front of me the entire time. I have it too good! My heart felt condolences go out to her and her family at this sad sad time. She & I both have family living in the area where this terrible event took place.
Work Rings in my Ears 2008-07-02 03:25:00 I don't know what is going on with my work lately. On two occasions they have called to ask me to work, only that didn't leave a message to indicate that's what they wanted so I missed out altogether. All I had was a missed call number that I had no clue who it belonged to.Monday they ring at 6:15am (not that it woke me up) and want me to start at 7:30am . By the time I showered & ate, ironed and got dressed it would have been 7:15am. To get to work by 7:30am I have to catch the 6:29am train.Then they ring on Tuesday with a message 'can I start at 8:30am on Thursday instead of 9:30am' but in fact they were meant to ask me if I could work Wednesday at 8:30am and Thursday should not have been included in the conversation. So now I missed out on work again today. Farrrk you got to love being casual & on call!

One morning I sneeked out of bed & home at 5am to meet her for a special kiss. Needless to say when we organised it we forgot to tell each other where we both lived so I wandered around for an hour or so, then went home disappointed that she forgot. But I have had a freekin' gut full of this coughing & gagging. I can associate myself with the term 'cough up a lung' I have barely slept in two days! The phone rang at 5:30am, it was the Police, letting us know that Nate's Ex was supposedly in their company, we can only assume 'drunken disorderly' as it turns out when Nate went to pick him up he was no longer there.One of the cats (not Sheekah, she is litter trained) shat on the bathroom floor. (a common occurrence however it could be anywhere in the house other than the litter trays) Which I had to clean up. I have a small break in one of my back teeth which is sharp and cutting the side of my tongue. There is no damn milk for my coffee and Nate took the car to work. It's not like I can just walk outside and milk a cow. They don't run rampant in the burbs. A wonderful Sunday morning so far! **Breaking Story*
Great Movie 2008-06-26 20:30:00 I know it has been done several times over, but this version of Good Teacher V's Intergration in School was well done. I have always like Hilary Swank, but after seeing this movie I have a knew love for her acting ability. Great story. Well acted! The Winter Blues 2008-06-26 17:03:00 It is that time of the year again. Flu season & both Nate & I have it. Point of fact - He got it first & no matter how much I tried to avoid him, I still copped it. What I really love about it is the body ache, the continuous running nose, the coughing, spitting & gagging. So much fun! Did I mention a sore throat, which is probably the part I love the most! BRING IT ON! Heck I might even go for another bout after this one. LOL.Right now I have a really itchy throat I just want to shove something right down there and make it feel better I guess. I have been fortunate in having the last two days off work, there is no way I could work all day the way I feel. But I must say this time round I am finding work a lot more enjoyable. My Gay Day is Wet 2008-06-17 21:11:00 It is a cold, rainy day here in Aussie land today, the perfect weather for curling up and watching a DVD. I may do that shortly. The other day I was outside grabbing the washing off the line & the little girl next door said "Hello, what's your name" so I politely told her. Then she said "Are you Gay" Which took me totally by surprise, my neighbours are not the type of people you would invite around for dinner. The first thing that came to mind was to ask her if she in fact new what it was that she was asking. This girl is no more than 7 or 8. But it soon hit me that her parents or one of the 6 adults that share the house would have put her up to it. So I chose to ignore the question.
