Thankful 2007-07-17 21:38:59 Sorry i haven’t been posting much the past few days but real life has been kicking my butt. Here we are mid summer, the time when the kids keep you so busy you can’t even remember to brush your hair before you run out the door.
Then the past few nights i’ve been having the strangest dreams. Dreams that i’ll post about tomorrow because tonight i have other things i want to talk about.
Sir and i haven’t seen much of each other this week. He’s been working His rear end off and when He’s home i know to just stay quiet and let Him get some rest.

All tied up 2007-07-11 10:55:09 Last night was one of those nights i didn’t want to end. Sir got home a little early and i was still fixing dinner, He poured us each a glass of wine and we sat outside and talked about the days events. The sun was starting to set and there was a cool breeze in the air for it to be almost 90 degrees outside.
I heard the buzzer go off on the stove so Sir and i went inside and fixed the table for dinner. I served Sir first and then i fixed my plate and we sat down and enjoyed a quiet dinner. There was no tv on no music playing it was just Him and i enjoying each other. It was so romantic.

The Future 2007-07-09 08:03:26 Today would have been my Daddy’s 81st birthday. I refuse to spend the day with tears, instead with a smile and i’m making our family recipe spagetti and garlic bread and open a nice bottle of wine and remember the good times.
Friday i went to the Dr and surgery date was set. YAY. I’m excited to get this over and done and recover and put it all behind me. Dr said my ribs are healing wonderfully. Wonderfully is not a common word i hear these days from my Dr so i was jumping with joy to hear it. She also said my blood sugar readings are looking great. I’m learning to control my numbers. Thank God i haven’t woke up in the 60’s lately. I actually got up this morning at 88 can you believe that YAY. I got the lab work back from my thyroid test i had taken last week and she said that too looked wonderful. hmmm what else. Ohhh yeah and blood pressure was 116/70 and she said she’s shocked i’ve actually got off my blood pressure meds and learnt how

Happy 4th of July 2007-07-05 18:29:23 I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. Wish i could say i did but it would be one big fat lie. My day was so bad that by 10 pm i was in bed and asleep.

My Rant 2007-06-22 09:59:45 I’ve had a lot on my mind the past week or so and i wanted to talk about it some. So if you don’t want to hear my rant you my want to run now.
Ok here i go. I’ve basically ended my friendship with Ray( My ex boyfriend incase any of you didn’t know whom i was speaking of). I realized that he wasn’t being honest to himself or to anyone else. I love him dearly and wish we could have remained friends but thats just not going to happen. I know Ray is an alcoholic, Ray knows he’s an alcoholic and yet he continues to drink. Okay that doesn’t bother me at all, let me explain why. As long as he drinks in moderation and controls his actions i’m ok with that, but it is obvious he can’t and i’ll be honest i don’t think he ever will.
Hopefully down the road he will get his life in order and hopefully then him and i can talk. Till then i’ve had to close the doors. Sorry Raymond.

Our Talk 2007-06-21 18:05:00 Whether good or bad, right or wrong….i’m a Catholic. I have no sham in talking about my love for God or the bible. Today was one of those eye opening days though.
I’ve always in the back of my mind wondered how God would feel about the lifestyle i live. Sooooooooo me being the person i am went to confession this morning. Finally after talking for 20 minutes i brought up how i’m a submissive wife and the lifestyle Sir and i live. My tummy was in knots wondering what my Priest would say. It was like telling your parents you are no longer a virgin.

Oh wow what a night. Sir and i had such a wonderful evening.
Sir didn’t get home till about 7pm and i had cooked us a really nice pasta casserole and chilled a nice bottle of wine and tossed a salad. Sir wanted to have dinner out on the deck. It was soooooo nice. Warm, but not hot. The sun was going down. Sir lit the torchs and it was just perfect.
During dinner we talked about our future and made plans for after my surgery. September 9th is our anniversary and it looks like we are going to go spend four days in New Mexico. Oh i love New Mexico in the Fall. The colors are so pretty and the sunsets are to die for.
After dinner i loaded the dishwasher while Sir went and took a nice long shower. When He got out i told Him i was going to take a bath and do my nails. He said no no just take a shower and let’s play.
