Dirty Joke: Hangover 2007-10-22 12:21:00 Larry wakes up at home with a huge hangover. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table. He sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Larry looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotless, clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins and notices a note on the table: "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping. Love you." So he goes to the kitchen, and sure enough there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating.Larry asks, "Son, what happened last night?"His son says, "Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and delirious, broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door."Confused, Larry asks, "So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?"His son replies, "Oh, that! Mom dragged you to t Read more:Dirty
30 Days of Night 2007-10-21 22:34:00 Most of you know of my fondness for horror movies. I dragged my husband to see this one last night.I actually don't have a lot to say about 30 Days of Night. It was okay. Kind of a throw back to older vampire movies. There were no suave, handsome blood drinkers in this movie (which is a breath of fresh air). It's gruesome and bloody like you would expect from this genre. If you love vamp flicks, go see it. If you're into more of a psychological horror movie, you might want to pass it up. It was high on action, but not very thought provoking.

What I'm Reading... 2007-10-20 13:26:00 IM by Rick ReedThe Internet Is the New Meat Market for Gay Men Now a Killer Is Turning the Meat Market into a Meat Wagon. One by one, he's killing them. Lurking in the digital underworld of Men4HookUpNow.com, he lures, seduces, charms, reaching out through instant messages to the unwary. He's just another guy. They invite him over. He's just another trick. Harmless. They're dead wrong. When the first bloody body surfaces, openly gay Chicago Police Department detective Ed Comparetto is called in to investigate. Sickened by the butchered mess of one of his brothers left on display in a bathtub, he seeks relief outside where the young man who discovered the body waits to tell him the story of how he found his friend. But who is this witness...and did he play a bigger part in the murder than he's letting on?For Comparetto, this encounter with a witness is the beginning of a nightmare. Because this witness did more than just show up at the scene of the crime; he set the scene. And maybe,

Adorable Movie: Coffee Date 2007-10-15 05:33:00 I watched Coffee Date last night, and can't recommend it enough for anyone searching for something fun to watch. It was a little bit predictable, but the cast is cute (the guy who plays Kelly is absolutely adorable) and, unlike so much fluff out there, there is actually a moral to the story. You'll have to watch the movie to find out what it is though. :) Anyone else see this one? What did you think?

Resident Evil: Extinction 2007-09-22 10:23:00 I went to the theater last night and saw the new Resident Evil movie. I was super excited about this one coming out, because I loved the first one. Apocalypse, not so much, but it had zombies, so it was okay too. All I can say about this latest addition to the series is wow. It was really good. There was a lot more zombie action in this one and I jumped several times during the movie. It's just a good thing I wasn't the one holing the popcorn. *g* We had to learn that lesson the hard way back when we went to see Demon Knight a hundred years ago. So, anyway, if you like zombies and mutants and kick-ass action, this is a must see. Oh, and by the way this movie ended, looks like we'll be looking for a number four soon too. That rocks.
